Karien van Gennip appointed as Supervisory Board Member of TomTom

Amsterdam, Netherlands, 28 October 2021, TomTom (TOM2), the geolocation technology specialist, today announced the appointment of Karien van Gennip as a new member of its Supervisory Board. Karien was appointed at today’s Extraordinary General Meeting, for a term effective as of 1 November 2021 until the Annual General Meeting in 2026. At the same date, Karien will become a member of the Remuneration Committee and the Selection & Appointment Committee.
The shareholders voted today in favor of her appointment with 99.99% of the votes cast. The adopted resolution with detailed voting results can be found on our corporate website.
As of now, the Supervisory Board consists of six members: Derk Haank (Chairman), Jacqueline Tammenoms Bakker (Deputy Chairman), Jack de Kreij, Michael Rhodin, Hala Zeine and Karien van Gennip.
