Best-in-class navigation for a first-in-class vehicle

The Fiat Toro defines an entirely new segment, bringing together the best parts of a pick up truck and SUV. For the 2021 edition, Fiat and TomTom continue to reimagine what it's to drive with all-new embedded navigation and connected services.

Evolving the experience

Designed in Brazil, exclusively for South American markets, the Fiat Toro defied all expectations upon its launch in 2016. Fiat’s first-ever pick up utility vehicle (PUV), the Toro gave rise to a brand-new segment and rapidly became a bestseller.

Fast forward five years, Fiat continues to break new ground. The 2021 Fiat Toro builds on its pioneering legacy to offer drivers even more performance, convenience and connectivity.

TomTom is joining the journey too, taking care of the full-stack of navigation, including fresh maps, turn-by-turn directions, traffic and speed camera alerts. It’s all part of a new platform of navigation and connected services for the brand in Brazil: Fiat Connect Me.

Fiat Toro drivers will be able to hit the road with confidence, thanks to convenient automatic over-the-air map updates from TomTom. To make the ride even smoother, drivers can view all the navigation they need on a big, bright 10.1” touchscreen, displayed vertically: another first for the market.

Fiat Toro, developed exclusively for the South American market, uses TomTom’s connected navigation solution to provide remote and periodic updates over-the-air for uninterrupted service even in places with no GPS coverage. It also calculates the fuel needed for a trip and maps the fuel stations along the way.
