Engineer II - IT Applications (Microsoft Administrator)

    What you'll do
    • Lead the administration and continuous improvement of collaboration platforms including Microsoft Teams, Slack, Miro, Exchange and comparable solutions.
    • Provide L2 operational support—troubleshoot escalated issues, resolve complex problems, and ensure optimal platform performance and user experience.
    • Evaluate new platform features and updates through technical assessments and pilot programs.
    • Deliver clear, actionable recommendations to the management team on feature adoption, process enhancements, and technology investments.
    • Collaborate closely with vendors on new feature releases, roadmap planning, and aligning platform capabilities with business strategies.
    • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for collaboration platforms, educating and supporting users across the organization.
    • Develop and maintain documentation, best practices, and standard operating procedures for platform usage and support.
    • Monitor platform analytics and user feedback to identify areas of improvement and propose actionable solutions.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the digital collaboration space.
    • Coordinate with Legal and Security teams to ensure compliance, data protection, and risk management for all collaboration tools.
    What you'll need
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing and supporting collaboration platforms such as Exchange, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Miro, or similar technologies.
    • Proven experience in providing L2 operational support and resolving escalated technical issues.
    • Strong technical skills in platform administration, configuration, and integration with other enterprise systems.
    • Demonstrated ability to assess new features and technologies and translate technical findings into business recommendations.
    • Experience in collaborating with third-party vendors for feature releases, escalations, and strategic planning.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
