Peugeot’s parent company Stellantis (ex-PSA Groupe) has been partnering with TomTom since 2016. Now, the launch of the Peugeot 308 opens a new chapter in that shared journey, setting a higher standard for driver safety and comfort.
For the first time, Peugeot will offer the 308 with electrified powertrains, including two plug-in hybrid options. These hybrid models come equipped with TomTom’s EV Service – making it easy for drivers to find available, compatible EV charging points and plan efficient routes with accurate arrival times.
The Peugeot 308 arrives with the latest i-Connect infotainment system, giving drivers the convenience of a smartphone app together with the safety and reliability of an embedded system. Powering this renewed experience is the latest generation of TomTom’s full-stack navigation. It delivers over-the-air map updates, fast online search and route calculations, voice-controlled navigation and turn-by-turn guidance – all from an intuitive user interface. Drivers also enjoy a full range of connected services, such as real-time traffic updates, parking availability and fuel price info.
In a big boost to safety, the Peugeot 308 will make use of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), supported by the TomTom ADAS Map. New models will include a host of driver assistance features, including adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance, active lane departure warnings, curve speed adaptation and speed limit information. So drivers can stay relaxed behind the wheel, knowing that the latest tech has their back.
