    What you’ll do as a TomTom engineer:
    • Work with big data and become a co-writer of a code base with the highest software quality.

    • Deliver projects that contribute to a smooth navigation experience and enable everything from a comfortable taxi trip to the evolution of autonomous driving.

    • Work with innovative mapping technology in the automotive and enterprise sectors.

    • Use, contribute and participate in open-source projects and communities.

    • Learn on the job – you will be exposed to the best code and UX designers in the industry, and you decide what you’d like to learn.

    • Continue developing yourself into a business-aware expert, adding value to exciting location-based products.

    What you’ll need
    • Software engineering experience ranging from recent college graduates to experienced managers.

    • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to communicate effectively in an international environment.

    • Experience with engineering languages such as Java, C++, Android, Kotlin, Swift, Python, Scala, KAFKA, Hive, and more. Platforms include Android, iOS, Web and more.

    • An agile mindset and ability to work in globally distributed teams to deliver high quality projects quickly and efficiently.

    • Engineering Product Units include:Maps, Delivery, Maps Content Processing, Content Production Platform, Automotive Systems, Navigation, TTI, IVI, Apps & Web, Map Visualization, Directions, and Service Platform.
