This role will partner effectively with our HR business partners, HR MT, Site leader, line managers, HR Service Desk and various other functions within the TomTom (HR) organization. You will work with the global ER team (based in Amsterdam, Ghent, Pune, Berlin, and Taipei) to support the TomTom growth strategy for the future. In this role, you will be assigned more countries than one (e.g., Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Russia, etc.). You will bring high quality, consistent, fair, and clear advice on employee relations and legal compliance in TomTom’s approach to employees. This will be achieved through advising on internal HR policies and procedures, local labour law, and employee life cycle issues from hiring to exit whilst maintaining a constructive working relationship with the HR headquarter based in Amsterdam.
Be a contact person for local Site Management, Works Councils, and Trade Unions (if applicable) on all aspects of the HR agenda to ensure we nurture and develop the TomTom DNA throughout our work environment and people processes,
Support and drive TomTom’s performance management approach,
Be the point of contact for employees that have HR queries or job-related issues
Carry out restructurings or reorganizations,
Support with individual cases such as illness and terminations,
Brand ambassador for employee well-being lives up to TomTom's value of ‘we care’
Support employees with personal development,
Mentoring and guiding our managers and employees on conflict handling and grievance.
You have extensive knowledge of employment law, in any case, Polish but knowledge of additional countries is preferred
You have at least 5 – 8 years experience in a similar role,
You have extremely strong interpersonal and communication skills,
You can objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues,
You love working in a dynamic international environment, more specifically in the big fun-loving HR team. Knowledge and experience in Agile HR will be a plus,
Knowledge of creating an impact in the hybrid work environment by crafting policies and guidelines that help build great employee experience (EX) for the virtual and real work environment,
You are fluent in English, other languages are a plus,
You can operate, drive results and set priorities independently,
