What you’ll doYou will be responsible for managing a team of 5 UX Researchers and, together with them establishing the vision of how UX Research can have most impact on TomTom products and strategy. This role combines leadership on various aspects: a people leadership part, leading individuals and the team, and a product leadership part, overseeing all main TomTom products.
You naturally put user needs first, while taking business and technical requirements into account. You can present and share your work in a compelling and convincing way in front of key stakeholders that often involve individuals from different business and product units. You have a strong will to create easy to use, delightful products. You love iterating on UX to find the best possible user experience. You’re proactive, and a great team player.

We’re UX (User Experience) Design. Fueled by user insights and data analytics, our mission is to create powerful, easy-to-use products that delight our customers – from the millions of drivers who use our products every day to the automotive customers who embed our technologies in their vehicles. We make this happen by delivering the design specifications for all TomTom’s driver-oriented software products. Our team is based in Amsterdam with sub teams at all major TomTom product development sites. Joining us, you’ll be part of a team that brings together design disciplines from user research to interaction, concept, motion and visual design.
