• As an Expert Android Engineer, you are accountable for the current and future challenges. Making sure that the continuous development and deployment environment will grow with the increasing demand of the team needs and the product complexity. 

• You take full accountability for everything falling in your teams' scope, from test and build architecture over ways of working to a future.

• Your most important tool for delivering results is identifying build stability and build time.

• You will have a high degree of freedom in our empowered team, but quality, timely delivery and continuous improvement are all part of the mix. 

• We are looking for an experienced engineer, ideally with a high interest in Continuous Integration and Delivery and experience in development & test environments of Android-based products.

• You have a solid understanding of Android (solid Java knowledge would also work), Gradle, GitHub, Azure Pipelines. This will help you to assess the impact of what the team delivers and take ownership for shaping the direction of the team and its systems in line with business objectives and strategy.

• You are eager and active, an excellent communicator, a technical expert who knows what to build and enjoy helping others. 

• You have strong technical skills and can cover for any temporary gap in the team if required.

• You mainly use these skills to identify, evaluate, and extend the product quality, and ensure the team is moving in the correct direction.

• Experience with Python

Meet your teamYou will be a member of the teams developing our digital in-dash software platform that aims to be the future of driving. The platform empowers OEMs (car makers) to build and evolve their brand specific digital cockpit, on top of Android Automotive OS, through a set of robust, pre-developed, and user tested fundaments. The team consists of a Team Lead and Engineers. You will be meeting other team's members as part of your assignment.
