    What you’ll do

    The principal duty of the Salesforce Application Manager is to manage all aspects of running a stable Salesforce application while adapting it to changing needs. The role is based in Amsterdam and reports to the head of Enterprise IT.

    Responsibilities:

    • Act as a product manager that meets business objectives by solving customer/user problems through salesforce platform and app exchange packages.
    • Ensure consistent operations in terms of user support, maintaining and changing system configuration and integrations.
    • Sustain good IT governance, eg incident management and change management.
    • Manage and prioritize the flow of development work by delivering new solutions through changes and projects.
    • Participate in Safe agile routines and liaise with peer applications managers for solution development where applicable.
    • Keep up to date with technology trends and seek opportunities to apply these.
    • Develop and communicate the strategy and roadmap with internal customers and stakeholders.
    • Sustain an effective and engaged team of 3 salesforce engineers.
    • Establish and maintain a constructive relationship with the customer based on understanding their business drivers.
    • Define scope and objectives, document application requirements construct solution architecture drawings and writing specifications where needed.
    • Contribute to Enterprise IT level initiatives.
    What you’ll need
    • Ability to communicate at all levels, from senior business stakeholders to engineers.
    • Experience in leading or guiding Salesforce professionals.
    • Three or more years of experience and a solid understanding of Salesforce SalesCloud and Salesforce platform.
    • Experience in developing Salesforce changes, delivering projects and providing operational support.
    • Ability to translate business needs into solutions.
    • Preferably experience in working with Safe Agile methodologies, Salesforce Community portal and Salesforce CPQ.

    Meet your team You’ll be responsible for capabilities that help ensure TomTom’s business operates efficiently and services are best delivered to customers. The Enterprise IT teams and capabilities include: Finance & Logistics, Sales & Legal, HR, Analytics & BI, Robotics and Biztalk integrations. Key business applications in our landscape are SAP, Workday, Salesforce, SAP BW, UIpath and Biztalk.
