    What you’ll do

    • Translate TomTom’s global corporate PR strategy into local market activities to ensure the message resonates in the US market
    • Work with our PR agency and Sr. Comms Manager to develop and execute the US PR strategy
    • Manage local media, in close collaboration with global comms team and the local PR agency. Interact, develop and nurture press relationships to effectively change the perception of TomTom from a consumer electronics company to leading player in high tech map making,
    • Support our spokespeople before and during media interactions
    • Recommend US industry opportunities such as podcasts, interviews, editorials, etc.
    • Proactively identify, share and make recommendations on news and issues that TomTom should have a voice in
    • Secure US speaking opportunities for TomTom spokespeople at key industry events
    • Measure the performance of PR campaigns and initiatives to improve quality
    What you’ll need
    • 3-5 years of PR experience, preferably in technology
    • Bachelor’s degree in communications, PR or a related field
    • Excellent writing skills and being a self-started
    • Experience interacting with media
    • A global view – and the cultural sensitivity that goes with it
