What you’ll doDraw insights from various data sources (e.g. satellite imagery, SAR, GPS traces, etc.) both individually as well as by fusing several of these sources.
Extract map features and attributes by applying statistical/ML techniques on data sources.
Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy
Automate feedback loops for algorithms in production through standardization of process and authoring best practices
Engage with teams to identify synergies and collaborate.
What you’ll needPost-graduate degree in Computer science, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent field and must have min. 8+ years of overall experience
Minimum 4-5 Years of experience working as a Data Scientist
Strong level of proficiency in Python, Unix/Linux and SQL
Experience in deploying ML model at scale in production
Experience in slicing and dicing of large data sets to draw insights
Experience in various machine learning techniques (CNNs, Random Forests, etc) and frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.)
Experience with public cloud platforms (e.g. AWS and/or Azure)
Strong problem-solving skills and a drive to learn new technologies
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Nice to haveKnowledge and experience with using GIS tools for spatial data analysis.
Experience in Big Data frameworks.
Strong level of proficiency in Unix/Linux and SQL
Experience with Docker
