Mentor engineers how to best utilize networks and network services in public cloud, and on-premises environments.
Participate in capacity planning and availability management of networks and network services.
Implement and recommend best practices and improve process efficiencies with detailed documentation.
Introduce automation techniques and failover methodologies to reduce risk.
Evaluate and improve security designs based on industry standards and best practices to ensure that any network connections do not interfere with data flow or make it vulnerable to attacks.
Design and create data communication networks.
Troubleshoot and remedy network design and software under incident management processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communications background
Technical leadership and experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies
10+ years’ experience in designing, implementing, and deploying networks
Strong understanding of DNS and DHCP topologies and architecture
Strong understanding of IPAM (IPv4, IPv6, RIPE, IANA)
Deep knowledge of routing protocols, switching platforms, and VPNs
Strong understanding of Azure and/or AWS public cloud providers
Strong Security background and focus on Zero Trust principles (SASE)
Experience with software defined networking technologies (SD-WAN)
Experience with Terraform, Ansible and other infrastructure as a code framework/tooling.

CCIE or JNCIE certification
Experience in scripting to include Python or PowerShell
