    What you’ll do
    • Build a modern data platform in public cloud, enabling the company to become even more data driven and get more value out of our data. 
    • Support teams across the TomTom organization to adopt this new modern platform
    • Take a lead role in discussions with your stakeholders making sure the voices of our internal customers are heard
    • Create, validate and evangelize the data platform roadmap with internal stakeholders and make sure it aligns to business needs and priority
    • Contribute to the definition and the alignment of the data platform vision and strategy
    • Identifies goals, metrics and analytics to determine product value; continually makes recommendations and refinements to the product backlog based on learnings
    • Empower your team to make decisions and then hold them accountable for these decisions 
    • Responsible for success of the product, not people. 
    What you’ll need
    • 5+ years of experience in the data science space as a lead of product development, architect or product owner 
    • Should be passionate and evangelize internally. You "inspire the rest of the product team”
    • Thorough understanding of Agile and DevOps
    • Passion to provide inspirational leadership
    • Ability to create solutions which are valuable, usable, feasible, and viable
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills
    • Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical people
    • Technical education in computer science or relevant field
    What’s nice to have
    • Prior product management experience
    • A background in software/system engineering
    • A background in managing a product as a shared (data) platform
    • Experience working with Public cloud, certifications, preferably Azure
    • Experience with Azure synapse, data factory, data lake, data bricks, Power BI Premium & AI
    • Experience in other agile roles, such as Release Manager, product owner or Scrum Master

    Meet your team In Service Platform you will join a team of enthusiastic and capable engineers to build a platform for the delivery of online services in TomTom. Our job is to allow TomTom engineers to focus on innovation and time to market. Teams in Service platform include Commercial IT to support our product development teams, Cloud Center of Excellence to enable internal customers getting better value from using public cloud, IT Service Management to ensure our services meet and exceed customer expectations, Employee IT to give TomTom employees a productive digital workplace, API Management to offer a simple to use and reliable platform to access our online services, DevSup to provide the best tools for TomTom engineers, and a CI/CD team rolling out continuous delivery for our online services.
