    What you’ll do
    • Build TomTom`s own product

    • Participate in big scale projects with modern technologies - Java 8, Apache Lucene, Cloud Computing, Jenkins Pipelines, Kibana & Elastic Search, Spring, Grafana

    • Create and maintain high code quality and engineering standards- Pull Requests, TDD, Test Automation, Continuous Integration, Error-Prone

    • Keep your autonomy, however, we all learn from each other

    • Work on challenging domain and problems, expect lots of contribution in solving problems in TomToms own product

    • Data-driven & Machine Learning approach

    • Very nice working environment - a good mix of seniority, experience and domain knowledge

    What you’ll need
    • Java 8 required

    • Apache Lucene (or any search engines interest) is much appreciated

    • Continuous Integration, Jenkins, Maven

    • Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure cloud technology

    • Database experience

    • Algorithm expertise

    • Git, Linux, scripting experience

    • Good command of English both in speech and writing

    • Knowledge of any: JavaScript, Angular.js, Node.js an advantage (server-side)

    • Good knowledge of design patterns and clean code principles

    • Good knowledge of automated testing techniques and tools

    We’re Search PU, a product unit within TomTom’s Location Technology Products technical unit. We develop our Search APIs that is used by a wide variety of customers. These products are integrated into other TomTom products and used by TomTom Automotive and Enterprise to provide businesses big and small with the technologies they need to build next-generation location experiences. On our team, you’ll play a role in taking us, and the world, forward.
