What you’ll do

We are looking for people ready to get into a TomTom car and take our products to the streets! This means testing, challenging, and validating them in their natural environment.

As a member of our team, you will be closely collaborating with other drive testers and software engineers. You will be responsible for:

  • Preparing devices, software, and vehicles for testing;

  • Answering the developers’ requests to test specific features on the devices, or test the latest versions of the software;

  • Planning and conducting drive tests on the road;

  • Documenting results of the drive tests.

What you’ll need

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication in English;

  • Communication is key: you are eager to work with colleagues across various teams and communicate with them;

  • You are proactive: don’t hesitate to ask questions and try to find creative ways to test our system in multiple scenarios;

  • You will need to be patient when encountering potential technical issues;

  • You have a keen eye for detail;

  • You are self-sufficient during assignments;

  • You have 1+ years of driving experience, a valid driver’s license for passenger vehicles and a clean driving record;

  • You are located in or near Berlin and enrolled at a university;

  • Experience with Linux and Android is a plus.

Meet your team

We are the Navigation team in Berlin, we develop the navigation engine used in various TomTom products. We are an international team with an informal working atmosphere. Our offices are located on the 26th floor of An den Treptowers 1 and offer an amazing view across Berlin, although we are primarily working from home these days.
