What you’ll do
  • Learn, learn, and learn! You leverage your passion for learning every day as you code and test software used for on-board and connected navigation solutions
  • Leverage your knowledge and learnings about maps, navigation software, and connected vehicle technologies as you work with our OEM customers
  • Be a part of a team that solves problems every day while sharing best practices, challenges, and creative solutions

  • Work with cross-functional groups across TomTom and external companies to develop automotive solutions.
What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of software development experience combined with good object-orientated software design abilities
  • Deep understanding of the software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Good knowledge of Android or demonstrated capacity to learn Android faster than average
  • Knowledgeable about Operating System concepts (Linux, Android), cross-platform development, and unit test frameworks
  • Knowledgeable of software quality processes and best practices
Nice to have:
  • Experience in Automotive industry
  • Experience with C++ or Android Auto
  • Computer Science background
