We are looking for an ambitious and self-motivated “trilingual” Senior Sales Representative to join our Enterprise Business Unit in APAC focusing on existing customers across Taiwan, China, Japan, and Singapore. The responsibilities of this role are to maintain and grow client relationships with existing customers. The right person for this role will have experience in customer service and account management and will be comfortable supporting and selling technical software products to companies in Mobility, Fleet, Logistics and SaaS markets.
Build a strong knowledge of TomTom product offerings and be able to use this knowledge to build convincing propositions and proposals for clients.
Utilize skills as a hunter to secure business as new accounts.
Lead opportunities through the deal review process.
Work with finance, governance, legal, and technical teams to produce win/win solutions for TomTom and our customers.
Present TomTom products to potential new customers.
Facilitate the licensing of products to clients including managing contractual agreements, following set workflows, and cooperating with the Legal department.
Develop relationships with product units to ensure APAC market needs are addressed.
Meet/exceed booking targets.
Participate at industry events to promote TomTom brand awareness.
Maintain the TomTom CRM (Salesforce.com) regarding current deals, account activity and revenue forecasts.
Trilingual in English (company language); Japanese and Chinese (client-facing languages). Professional proficiency in all three languages.
Australian PR/citizenship (or New Zealand citizenship) is required if applying in Australia.
Full Taiwanese work rights are required for Taiwan applications.
Full work rights in Japan are required if applying in Japan.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Engineering or Computer Science.
At least 3 years of sales experience in the technology industry, software and/or cloud products and services.
Experience building Japanese business relationships.
Effective communicator in both Japanese and English.
Experience using a CRM system, preferably Salesforce.
Outstanding organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects - passionate about technology adoption.
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent negotiation, presentation and closing skills.
Self-motivated, positive, driven and result-oriented.
Produce high-quality and accurate work consistently.
Ability to travel as needed.
