You will work as a Software Engineer within the Software Delivery Effectiveness team, part of the Developer Experience group at TomTom. Your team's mission is to provide a sustainable platform to drive the delivery of high-quality software without compromising on speed, across more than 200 Engineering teams in TomTom. We believe in continuous capability-driven improvement, inspired by the 24 DevOps capabilities defined by the DORA research group. Our work will enable TomTom's engineers and engineering managers to:
Spend more time creating differentiating business value rather than fighting with tools and infrastructure.
Identify areas for improvement.
Access, share and reuse best practices with fellow engineering teams in TomTom.
Experience with, and passion for, developing high-quality software (backend services, CLI tools), ideally already in the context of developer productivity.
Passion for automation, self-service and constantly reducing toil.
Experience with DevOps and developing CI/CD Pipelines. Preferred technologies: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines.
Experience with a Cloud platform technology. Azure is our preference, but AWS is also valuable.
Experience with containerization and container orchestration. Preferred technology: Kubernetes.
We build it we run it mentality, open to being on-call for our services.
Experience with time-series and dashboards is a plus.
Experience with Cloud-Native solutions is a plus
Design and develop Tools, Online Services, APIs, Dashboards, Reference CI/CD Pipelines.
Build an internal marketplace for best practices, designed to make fellow engineers' life better.
Engage in meaningful interactions with your fellow engineers to understand their problems and identify leverage opportunities for your team and Developer Experience.
Be responsible for the software you develop.
Remote work from countries where TomTom has a substantial engineering presence will be considered.
