As Cloud Engineering leader in Automotive Systems, you will be leading teams of skilled, innovative, and passionate engineers in the integration, customization, and delivery of our location technology components to our business customers in the Global automotive market. You will lead the team in creating breakthrough solutions, robust and scalable services using modern application development techniques in a multi cloud setup, advancing agile development principles, and improving engineering practices.

You will have end-to-end ownership, authority and accountability for the performance and results of the teams and microservices
Provide technical direction to the team to deliver solutions leveraging Cloud technologies ensuring highly automated, cost-efficient, reliable, and scalable solutions
Orchestrate the design, development, and delivery
Develop, build, mentor a world-class engineering team and cultivate a culture of executing high-velocity and high-class delivery by developing sustainable and scalable components
Drive for innovation and improvement - encouraging and enabling your team to improve their tools, processes, and culture. Keeping them agile and creative
Assists the teams and the release manager to continuously improve the way of working stimulates collaboration within the team and with other teams
Evaluates team's performance against the objectives and key results, identify risks and correct actions
Adapt team plans and priorities to address operational challenges
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in software development
2+ years of experience in technical leadership and people management
Experience in build highly available and scalable solutions using Cloud technologies (e.g., AWS or Azure, containerization e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
Knowledge of modern programming technologies and approaches (OOP, SOA, Microservices and Events. Design Patterns, SOLID principles, TDD etc.
Proven track record with complex architectural designs and getting them developed/deployed
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery
Experience with building DevOps cultures
A strong collaborative mindset to work closely with your peers in various teams like Product Management, Operations, Quality and Customer teams
