As an experienced Java engineer you design and develop a Java back-end components to efficiently collect and manage user and behavioral data.
You will be working in a multidisciplinary, open-minded, and dynamic team on a mission to data re-evolute TomTom.
You have a DevOps mindset and treat your client library as any other product worth of CI/CD practices.
You proactively manage our data stakeholders to match their requirements on discoverability, security, governance, and big data analytics.
You continuously improve the infrastructure, tooling, and quality of our data products
The outcome of your work will help data scientists and other data stakeholders turn information into insights.
Experience with (scalable) end-2-end software architectures
Java experience AND experience with one of the Clouds (Azure) providers
Experience using common design patterns. High standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance
Experience with database solutions (both relational and non-relational) & cloud storage
Automatic Testing best practices: unit integration and load testing.
Additional programming experience with another language (Kotlin or Python)
Experience with containers (Docker) and publishing to CI/CD systems
Experience in working on large-scale systems.
