We are looking for a Java/C++ Software engineer to help us solve one of most difficult challenges within the mobility domain:
Estimated Travel Time accuracy.
What you’ll do
You will contribute to a multi-tiered online navigation service built in C++ and Java, and you’ll drive your part of the larger team goals.
You will help improve and integrate various code components across multiple domains such as traffic, routing, and data products.
You will interact with your stakeholders across various teams to explore the maximum impact for our users and customers.
You bring your creativity, innovative ideas, and collaboration skills to the table within this cross-domain impact team!
What you’ll need
You have ≥3 years of hands-on experience with C++ and/or Java Software Engineering and experience with Linux, Bash, and Git.
You have a growth-mindset: The desire to learn and expand your skill set to maximize your impact.
You will be part of our empowered team: Given only the problem, we collaboratively find a solution across the stack. We enjoy networking and excel within this environment of opportunity and uncertainty.
You can understand a lot of new code in a short time and are comfortable making changes to it after aligning with code owners.
You commit to software engineering best practices (class and system design), including unit & integration testing.
You possess good English communication skills (written and verbal).
You have experience with Python.
You have experience with Cloud technology.
You have experience in driving software projects.

We develop software for onboard, hybrid, and online navigation applications – used by hundreds of millions of people around the world. Using a Navigation Data Standard (NDS) run-time format, our software includes navigation domain logic for traffic-dependent routing, route guidance, map visualization, search, positioning and machine learning-based predictions and suggestions.
