What you’ll do: 
  • Develop great location-based services for drivers. 

  • Design and implement high-performing solutions based on Java and Kubernetes.

  • Work with rapidly changing frameworks and technologies. 

  • Design, implement, and deploy infrastructure as code for the Azure cloud platform. 

  • Collaborate with team members by sharing tasks and code reviews. 

  • Align and communicate with other TomTom teams. 

  • Work in an agile process that includes daily standups, retrospectives and grooming sessions. 

  • Participate in continuously improving our processes. 

  • Work with these technologies: Java, Quarkus, Python, Bash, Git, Maven, Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, MQTT, Flutter, Azure DevOps, Grafana, Prometheus. 

What you’ll need: 

  • Familiarity with distributed and scalable systems. 

  • Enthusiasm for DevOps to take ownership from development until production deployment. 

  • To like collaborating to achieve excellent team results. 

  • Professional experience with Java frameworks like Spring or Quarkus. 

  • Familiarity with service deployment in the public cloud. 

  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code. 

  • Experience with required tools such as Linux, bash, and Git. 

Meet your team! 

We are the Hazard Warnings team, a team within the TomTom Traffic and Travel information product unit, located in Berlin. We collect and process various information sources to deliver warnings on situations that are dangerous for drivers. The service is a fresh new project that works with push messaging technology. Together with you, we will develop the product further. Our DevOps team owns the complete business process from product definition through software development to operations of the service. If you join our team, we will help you to grow into your role. You will soon see how your work impacts the way the world moves. 

Note: You are eligible to work in the EU. An international relocation package and professional support is available (if applicable).
