Develop our traffic analytics products that aim to reduce congestion on the roads
Work closely with the rest of cross functional team and product management team
Propose new features and improve existing solutions
Work with and learn from experienced team members
Spend time on learning and experimenting
At least 3 years of experience in back-end development, but we're looking also for more senior candidates
We primarily use Java and Kotlin, so a good knowledge of one of JVM languages is needed
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Being familiar with Azure or AWS cloud services is an advantage
Knowledge of CI/CD and other DevOps practices is also a plus
Experience with playing with big data or location data is also nice to have

Our team’s flagship service, TomTom Traffic, provides precise real-time and predictive analytics for road users and businesses.
As a software engineer you will join our Traffic Analytics team where we process and analyze traffic information globally. We develop web applications and APIs that help solve traffic congestion or analyze what’s happening on the road network thanks to real-time and historical traffic data.
