What you’ll do
  • Influence the roadmap and product development of TomTom’s companion applications.

  • Collaborate with our stakeholders, development, and testing teams to define basic product criteria, plan and remove roadblocks.

  • Coding in Swift/Objective-C (on iOS), scripting languages, etc

  • Contribute to and reuse TomTom SDKs (available and new), be an early adopted to the SDK teams.

  • Work with the other engineers to set up a suitable process focused on ownership, delivering results, and teamwork. Most of our teams are working in Agile/Scrum or Kanban.

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant;

  • Proficiency in English, both written and oral. Ability to talk to technical and business audiences. Examples of working with the business on defining the roadmap and setting up priorities.

  • Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project. Be the owner and deliver results.

  • Experience in communicating with other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs

  • Proven track of delivering apps and framework components for the iOS platform

  • Excellent coding skills in Objective-C / Swift, knowledge of unit tests

  • Knowledge of BLE/Bluetooth services

  • Awareness and experience in working with multicultural, multi-location teams

  • Deep Bluetooth knowledge to implement advanced use cases based on Bluetooth, or ability to quickly learn.
