What you’ll do

We offer you two possibilities:

  • Join us and work on a project for 2-3 months this summer. We will provide you with a list of ideas that you can experiment on, this are just ideas - if you see something that could be fun, suggest it and we can give it a go!

  • Join us as a full member of the NDS team for 6 months and support us in our daily activities!

What you’ll need
  • You are a student enrolled in a Master's degree in Engineering or any other related field in Germany;

  • You are proficient with either Python, HTML, React, or JavaScript;

  • You are fluent in English;

  • You are eager to learn and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment;

  • You possess good communication skills, enjoy teamwork while being able to work independently;

  • You have a strong interest in Tech!

  • OR a 6 months internship (pflichtpraktikum) in our NDS team with a compensation of 850 euros per month (gross salary based on full-time work).

Meet your team

We are the NDS Team (Navigation Data Standard)! We are part of TomTom’s Location Technology Products technical unit, and we are in charge of compiling TomTom Maps’ source data into an application-friendly run time format for use in TomTom’s navigation applications and services, as well as third-party partners and customers. Map management and full scope updates are central. On this team, you will create the most innovative technologies to transform online and embedded navigation around the world, ultimately shaping tomorrow’s mobility.
