TomTom is looking for a world-class Portfolio Manager to join the People (HR) team. As the Portfolio Manager, you will report to the CHRO directly and will play a key role in driving the execution of the most important projects, initiatives and key results within the People team. As a fundamental part of the leadership team, your main responsibility is to have TomTom and the People organization succeed through influence and drive.

What you’ll do 
  • Actively contribute to the HR product vision

  • Act as the portfolio manager of all the initiatives in the People team through the use of tools and methodologies to track, inform and provide visibility, including identifying, assessing and proposing solutions to potential risks, barriers and delays in any of the initiatives

  • Drive the main initiatives, holding people accountable for deliverables on the day to day and guaranteeing focus on the most strategic tasks, leading through influence on the execution of the projects that are led by other members

  • Run the People leadership routines, summits, quarterly all-hands and other important initiatives such as strategic planning, headcount planning and budget cycle

  • Deliver the People reports to the whole organization including insights relevant to the Executive Team and all of TomTom

  • Promote portfolio management best practices and “test and learn” culture across the People organization

  • Ensure project data-driven approach to determine business and customer value from project intake through delivery 

  • Act as the People planning platform’s product owner ensuring delivery through a data-driven approach, skills matching and orchestrating project process and rituals

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years working with project/portfolio/process management experience or as an Agile Coach within HR - the most important aspect is the mindset of disciplined execution more than the methodology

  • Demonstrated experience in leading organizational transformation programs including change management and process improvements

  • A truly detail-oriented and organization passion - you are always the most organized person of any group of people 

  • Experience with digital tools that will support this mission: Gtmhub, Miro to mention a few, but could be any other that fits this purpose

  • Ability to establish and maintain meaningful relationships across multiple business players and the HR organization

  • A natural interest in technology as a facilitator of people-centered solutions

  • Certification in PMO, Six-Sigma, Agile, Scrum. These are good credentials for this role but formally not required
