What you’ll do
  • In your role as Windows Engineer

    • Hands-on solution engineering with the team on Windows and Windows Virtual Desktop platforms

    • Focus on automation and self-service solutions

    • Create and maintain valuable client reporting

  • In your role as Product Manager Devices

    • Create, maintain and own the product roadmap for client devices and respective management platforms

    • Collaborate closely with the identity & Access Management Product Manager and Security to plan and implement client solutions focusing on all supported OS’es (Windows, WVD, Ubuntu, MacOS)

    • Manage the devices product backlog

    • Work closely with Technical Leads and System Engineers of the different OS platforms and client hardware, and with the end users to ensure the best possible end-user experience

    • Look for modernization and consolidation opportunities (such as client management platforms)

    • Apply scrum to deliver sprint results that contribute to the digital workplace experience

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor in computer science or similar
  • 10 years of experience in the Digital Workplace domain
  • 5 years of experience and expert knowledge of Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Intune
  • In-depth technical knowledge of client operating systems with focus on Windows
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex or escalated support issues
  • Excellent (English) communication skills and cross-cultural adaptability
  • A “getting things done” mentality
  • Creative ideas, suggestions and a new way of doing something
  • Learning and adapting to new technologies
Good to have
  • 3 years experience as a Product Manager or Product Lead in the Digital Workplace domain
  • Passion for technology and good knowledge of client computing software and hardware trends
  • Knowledge of Windows Virtual Desktop and the Azure platform
  • Good scripting knowledge of VBscript and Powershell

Within the Digital Workplace Technology team of Employee IT, you’ll be responsible for capabilities that help ensure TomTom’s business operates efficiently and services are best delivered to customers. In the DWT team we engineer and manage all Digital Workplace technical solutions that touch our end-users at TomTom. We deliver a secure Identity and Access management platform. We are responsible for client management using the best in class client management systems. We deliver client hardware and meeting room setups to ensure the best collaboration within TomTom, and we manage and administrate those collaboration solutions.
