As a Mobile Growth Marketing Manager, you will work alongside our team of world-class product managers, engineers, UXers, and analysts to identify and execute on the biggest opportunities to grow the active user base of our mobile apps portfolio. 

You’ll own the Go-to-market strategy and be responsible for the commercial success of our apps by overachieving downloads and conversion to pay targets. You’ll drive strong data-driven-decision marketing through quantitative results, work closely with the UX research team on qualitative research, and ask the right questions to unlock the potential of our customer insights.

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to support the development of a roadmap that reflects business priorities and improves performance on all steps of the funnel & growth flywheel
  • Lead the experimentation process to uncover potential engines of growth along with data-driven decision-making to reach the next level of scale, impact, and profitability.
  • Work closely with the Mobile Marketeer and ASO to implement 360 campaigns that drive conversion of users that stick
  • Own TomTom’s apps positioning, messaging, storytelling across multiple channels & campaigns
  • Perform comprehensive product analytics covering the entire funnel from marketing acquisition to conversion, identify potential for opportunities and ensure these are tested and implemented timely
  • Increase engagement via use-case, frequency, intensity, and feature adoption. Segment users to understand retention per cohorts and increase it over time.
  • Conduct basic research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs. Integrate user research, market analysis, and customer feedback into product requirements to ensure products satisfy customer needs, as well as wants.
  • Analyze the user lifecycle, including the activation, retention, dormancy, and resurrection phases, and deploy experiments to improve the lifetime value (LTV) and decrease churn.
  • Measure the effectiveness of your monetization strategy. Design and define pricing plans that utilize quantitative and qualitative methods. Focus on making your product profitable, including selecting key markets and outreach channels.
What you’ll need:
  • 5+ years of experience in a hypergrowth environment, preferably a mobile app.
  • Strong affinity for mobile apps and a deep understanding of app acquisition, retention, and monetization strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with performance marketing channels (social media, programmatic, affiliate, etc.) at some point in your career is a must.
  • Have a data-driven mindset focused on growth efforts towards acquisition, monetization, and retention
  • A strong communicator — can speak the language of engineering, data, design, operations and can coordinate cross-functionally with each to achieve big wins. Can confidently present to C-level.
  • A good standpoint on copywriting and design. Ability to draft communication fast.
  • A ‘get things done’ personality: You are able to build your own network of influence and never stop pushing towards delivery; you lead by influence and empathy to over-achieve results
  • Experience working in HQ environment is a plus.
