In this role, you will be part of the mobile team within the Apps & Web product unit, working on GO Navigation apps for both Android and iOS. As the community manager intern, you will own the content assessment, structuring, and reporting of all in-app feedback of our beta apps, but also our released apps. This role will be a great opportunity for you to work with colleagues from different parts of the business, such as engineering, marketing, customer support, data analytics, user experience design, and research.

What you'll do
  • Monitor app ratings & reviews, identify trends and early indications of product performance issues to report back to developers.
  • Manage and moderate beta user community that deal with our apps.
  • Align on user feedback with product manager and development teams to make sure the nature and severity of reported issues are well understood.
  • Create and present weekly reports with a summary of both production and beta feedback.
  • Work closely with the customer care team to ensure timely replying of questions and reviews and deep understanding of the feedback.
  • Provide input for FAQs and user manuals based on the insights from your daily work.
  • Use various tools for gathering and processing the data, such as iTunesConnect, Google Developer Console, AppBot, LeanPlum, App Annie & others.
What you'll need
  • You are currently studying Communications, Marketing, or related study
  • EU citizenship or enrollment in a Dutch university (to meet work permit regulations)
  • You should be enrolled as a full-time student for the complete duration of the internship
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • You are energetic and enthusiastic about your work and about the products you help shape
  • You like creating compelling reports by abstracting data and user feedback for communicating with different layers of the organization
  • You are experienced with using Android and iOS smartphones and apps, especially with maps/navigations apps
  • Ideally, you own a car and do a lot of driving, for both commuting and driving for pleasure, so that you understand the needs and frustrations of drivers.
  • You’re a (near-)native English speaker
  • You are a team player
  • You like a challenge and can help us deal with product feedback in a positive, engaging and constructive way

We are building our product on top of the latest and greatest features delivered by other teams, by implementing mobile UI and adding mobile-specific features and integrations, such as CarPlay.
