We are looking for a copywriter to join the TomTom People Communications team and help us amplify TomTom’s culture to engage, retain, and attract new talent to create technologies for tomorrow’s mobility. 

 
What you’ll achieve 

  • Develop copy from concept through execution for multiple purposes and touchpoints. This includes employer brand campaigns, internal newsletters, blogs, social media posts, scripts, editorial pieces, emails, and more.
  • Work in close collaboration with all areas of the business to bring our stories to life. You’ll liaise with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and various other stakeholders.
  • Bring simplicity, consistency, and structure to our content (internal and external), develop training and Tone of Voice guidelines for internal use 

 
What you’ll need 

  • We have 42 offices around the globe, but English is our company language, so we’re looking for a native English speaker
  • At least 3 years of experience in copywriting for tech companies is paramount - we’d also love to see a portfolio demonstrating integrated campaigns (concept through to execution) 
  • Think thoroughly… and fast! Things move rapidly at TomTom, so you’ll only be successful if you can juggle between multiple projects, prioritize, meet deadlines, and change direction with speed. 
  • Be an active listener, we need someone who understands and accounts for different perspectives. 
  • You’ll need to be solutions focused. We’re here to delight and engage our current and future employees and we hold ourselves at a high standard to deliver on these goals.
  • You’ll need an understanding of the 360 communications journey – not just one touchpoint but all of them and how they interact (social, web, email, intranet, etc.) 
  • You’ll need to be interdependent with a strong teamwork ethic: you must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
