What you’ll do

Team Lead Facilities, APAC 

The new Team Lead Facilities will manage all TomTom office buildings in the APAC. The position requires a flexible, pro-active problem-solver with a detail- and customer service-oriented personality and a disposition that constantly anticipates needs and inquires, “how can I help?” Candidate must be a strong motivator and leader, possess solid communication skills, and have a proven track record of overseeing multiple projects and properties. 


  • Oversee and manage leased office buildings, responsible for all aspects in and around the buildings, including but not limited to; 
  • Facility operations 
  • Workplace management 
  • Contract management 
  • Health & Safety 
  • Security systems 
  • Leads nine reports and their facility support team to a world class reference and drives high engagement and succession plans 
  • Guide and assist local facilities team with day-to-day operations. Making sure global standards are followed locally. 
  • Effectively analyze and prioritize issues, data, information and facility related events dealing with emergency and safety related problems and communicate clearly to stakeholders and chain-of –command.
  • Lead in writing standards, specifications, and contracts for various trades, and evaluating multiple bid proposals for completeness and accuracy. 
  • Introduces innovative concepts and supports implementation 
What you’ll need
  • 7+ years’ experience in workplace or facilities management; 
  • 3+ years of experience hiring, leading and mentoring a team (ideally of more than 2 people); 
  • Leadership skills with the ability to develop and supervise a team of workplace professionals at all levels, and communicate with upper management; 
  • In-depth understanding of workplace and facility management, building and maintenance systems; 
  • Positive attitude & “can-do” mentality that is customer service oriented; 
  • Excellent listening skills, organizational skills, & strong communication skills with leaders & executors; 
  • Strong work ethic, commitment to quality, & proven follow-through skills; 
  • Multitasking talents and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment under constant changing priorities and demands; 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent verbal/written communication & presentation skills; 
  • Clean driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Pune, India as necessary; 
  • The responsibilities of this position may change over time - this role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the organization.
