What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with Platform and Product Engineering Teams to educate them on threats and vulnerabilities applicable to TTI (Traffic and Travel Information product unit)
  • Perform threat modeling and design reviews on new products and major updates to existing products
  • Provide recommendations to improve the security of TTI’s applications
  • Review the architecture and security of TomTom’s cloud environments
  • Develop tools that make it easier to ship secure code and harder to ship insecure code
  • Perform security assessments of TTI applications (manual and automated penetration testing)
  • Contribute to security architecture and assist in building and rolling out processes for secure code development and deployment
  • Provide subject matter expertise on encryption, security controls, and secure design and programming practices
  • Contribute to security policy, standards, and guidelines related to Information Security
What you’ll need
  • At least 5+ years of experience in application security
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Expertise with common security testing methodologies
  • Experience with automated or otherwise highly scalable application security solutions
  • Experience with building and customizing tools
  • Experience securing cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
  • Ability to accurately weight security risks against business operations and goals
  • Strong foundation in applied cryptography
  • Experience with SAST, DAST, and SCA
What’s nice to have
  • Experience with scripting in JavaScript, Python, Java or C++
  • Experience in the Automotive industry
  • Published or presented security research
  • Experience with penetration testing
  • Knowledge of RFQ’s (Request for quotation)
