Partners for more than a decade, Fiat Professional and TomTom have joined forces once again to reimagine navigation for light commercial vehicles. All new for 2021, the Fiat Ducato and Fiat Ducato Camper Van have been redesigned to offer drivers a new level of comfort, efficiency and connectivity.
The Ducato’s best-in-class infotainment system features TomTom’s complete range of connected services: fresh maps that are updated automatically over the air, live traffic, speed camera alerts, parking availability, weather updates and more. The navigation system also takes the van’s unique dimensions into account when planning routes, keeping drivers on roads that are fit for their vehicle for stress-free journeys.
In a pioneering step for safety, the new Ducato is the first-ever light commercial vehicle to achieve level 2 autonomous driving. It uses the TomTom ADAS Map to support a range of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop&Go function, Lane Keep Assist and Traffic Jam Assist.
Thinking of their leisure drivers as well, Fiat has equipped the latest Ducato Camper Van with TomTom navigation and connected services. In addition to real-road information, drivers get access to routes designed exclusively for their camper van’s dimensions – so they can confidently follow wherever adventure leads.
