Unsolicited Ideas Submission Policy

The purpose of this policy is to make clear TomTom’s position on unsolicited ideas and avoid any potential disputes or legal action in case TomTom’s independently developed products, services, or features ever appear to be similar or identical to submitted ideas.

Note that TomTom* and its employees do not accept or consider unsolicited ideas, suggestions, proposals or materials (“Submissions”) in any form.

If, after carefully reading this policy, you still decide to submit your ideas to TomTom, then regardless of what you may say in your communication, we will consider that you have read and understood this policy and the following terms shall apply to your submissions.

1. Your submissions and their contents will automatically become the property of TomTom, without any compensation to you or any third party.

2. TomTom shall have no obligations in relation to the submissions, including but not limited to, no obligations to keep your submissions confidential or proprietary, and shall not be liable for any use or disclosure of the submissions.

3. TomTom may use or redistribute the submissions and their contents for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise, without any restriction.

4. There is no obligation for TomTom to review, keep, acknowledge, or return the submissions or any related materials.

TomTom is always willing to hear what customers have to say about existing products and services. If you want to share your product experience and feedback, which we hope that you do, then you can use this forum. Any unsolicited ideas shared on the forum are subject to this policy.

Any feedback that you provide is deemed to be non-confidential and non-proprietary. TomTom shall be free to use such information for any purpose that it considers appropriate, on an unrestricted basis, and without any compensation to you or any third party.
