Subject to exemptions by law or doctrine, and unless stated otherwise, use of TomTom’s copyrights is exclusively reserved to TomTom and its licensees (as covered by a corresponding agreement between licensees and TomTom). Several jurisdictions recognize restrictions on copyright protection allowing a limited and specific use of copyrighted material without permission of the copyright holder, e.g., for education. If you are unsure whether your intended use would fall under such restrictions, please seek legal counsel. In any case, use of TomTom copyrighted material must
• not be obscene and disparaging, defamatory, or libelous to TomTom, its brand, services, products, and technology or any person or entity;
• subject to an agreement with TomTom, not directly or indirectly state or imply sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement by TomTom;
• comply with TomTom’s guidelines on use of trademarks; and
• subject to an agreement with TomTom, include proper attribution.
Subject to an agreement with TomTom, any TomTom material is provided “as is”, without warranties or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including without limitation any warranties or conditions of title, non-infringement, or fitness for a particular purpose. Subject to an agreement with TomTom, TomTom may revoke any permission to use its copyrighted material at its own discretion at any time.
If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes a copyright infringement or any other violation of your rights on a TomTom website or in another service or product provided by TomTom, please follow the steps as outlined here.
