When you are ordering from the TomTom webstore, you will need a MyTomTom account. If you do not have one, you will create one during the checkout process. This information is used for administration- and (when needed) shipping purposes.
The MyTomTom account also allows you to check the latest status of your order, makes it easier for placing future orders and it can also be used in TomTom HOME application.

All transactions are carried out by our payment service provider Bibit BV. This name will also appear on your bank- or credit card statement. All of the payments are done via a secure and encrypted connection (SSL). When you order a shippable product (i.e. a Home charger or an extra windshield mount) your order will be shipped by UPS. By default, we will ship to the same address as your billing address. You can enter a different shipping address in the checkout process.
For shippable products it is not possible to ship to a different country than the country of your billing address. So make sure you are shopping from the correct country website, the country of your billing address. Download products (i.e. maps, voices, safety cameras) do not require shipping but may incur sales tax (CT, MO, NC, NY, OH, PA, TX & WA); you will receive download instructions shortly after a successful payment.
