Incredible variety of landscape from altitude peaks to coastline views
Certainly the most scenic trail in France with a variety of outlooks that exceed any type of expectation. You can in the morning dive in creek pools, at midday be hiking through dark chestnut forests among wild boars, and at the end of the day be climbing the Monte Cinto (peak at 2760 m). The trail is quite remote, with some steep passages (equipped with Via Ferrata). You encounter very few tourists, but you have the most incredibles views over the mediterranean sea. Consider 10 days to 2 weeks to complete the trail. There are shelters on the trail to stay over night, they need to be booked in advance.
