Over the past 20 years TomTom has developed the world's most extensive digital mapping database. The result of all our hard work is MultiNet, a detailed and rigorously tested road network database designed for application providers in highly developed countries.

MultiNet gives you the richest, freshest and most accurate mapping data available. MultiNet is about more than just maps though. It also gives you added functionality such as turn-by-turn directions, road signage, intersections, positioning centrelines for drivable roads and streets. More than 50,000 global data sources provide MultiNet with a continuous stream of updates.

MultiNet is suitable for the most demanding high-end applications. Our partners across a wide range of markets and industries rely on our digital maps to deliver critical applications for emergency, business, fleet and infrastructure services.

2. Community input

We are revolutionizing the ways digital maps are updated and enhanced - to incorporate real world, real time feedback from the world's largest navigation community to deliver the best, freshest maps.

Our community of Tens of millions of drivers using our navigation devices is anonymously sharing its data trips (probe data), helping us bringing better product in the market.

Thanks to our community feedback we discover and add new roads to our database, realign existing roads to increase the accuracy of our maps.
This new technology leverages on the power of community and ensures that the data we provide to you is the freshest and most accurate available while being presented in one globally consistent manner.
