Starting in Knighton, on the Welsh/English border, this horseshoe ride, which takes you to Welshpool via Macynlleth, is arguably one of the best routes in the UK. The stunning scenery of Mid Wales surrounds you for the duration of the ride and it's an area of the country that has managed to escape the attention of many tourists, who'd rather go to Snowdonia or the Brecon Beacons, so there's relatively little traffic.
