Following Asterix's footsteps, you will travel through the land of volcanoes in the heart of France. The Auvergne or the Avernerland is a volcanic region in the Massif Central. It consists of four departments (Puy-de-Dôme, Cantal, Haute-Loire and Allier). A journey around the volcanoes leaves you permanently at altitudes of about 1000 meters, which clearly indicates the time of the trip can have an effect.
