A deserted open landscape steeped in aboriginal history, crocs and crittersDiscover this route
The Kakadu Highway is arguably the best motorcycling road for road based motorcycles in the Northern Territory. This 200km of which a about half of the road travels through the Kakadu National Park (A World Heritage Site) and is surrounded by Aboriginal lands. It is a long fast open section with many fast curves and an open hot, and deserted landscape. This road has low traffic and is relatively free of trucks due to no quarries being in the park itself.
Watch out for crocodiles!
