Lysefjorden is a deeply cut fjord in southern Norway with the tiny village of Lysebotn at the tip. It is famous for Preikestolen, a flat rock 400 meters above the fjord, and for Kjeragbolten, a boulder wedged in a gap high up on Kjerag mountain.
This trail takes you onto Kjerag from a trail-head above Lysebotn, along the fjord ridge, to Kjeragbolten. For the return, this path follows through a small seldomly visited valley. Alternatively, you can return the same way you came.
