Bernd Leukert is a German national. Bernd holds a Master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis on engineering and information technology from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany.
Bernd is the Head of Technology, Data and Innovation at Deutsche Bank.
From 1994 to 2019 he held various management positions at SAP SE, where he served as a member of the Executive Board since 2014. Bernd is a member of the Supervisory Boards of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz, DFKI) and of Bertelsmann SE & Co. KgaA.
He is also a member of the Market Strategy Board of the International Electrotechnical Commission and the steering committee chairman of Plattform Industrie 4.0 for the German government’s Industrie 4.0 initiative.
Bernd was appointed to the TomTom Supervisory Board in September 2017. His current term runs until 2021.
