    About the role  

    This role provides you the opportunity to embark on the TomTom journey as a Product Manager in the TomTom Product Management organization, more specifically in the area of our Developer Portal. 

    In this role we believe that you have a drive for the delivery of a high-quality Developer Experience and a passion for technology and innovation. You are motivated by shaping the product future and delivering solutions that customers love. You strive in a dynamic, agile environment and are open to change. 

    What you’ll do 

    • Responsible for our Developer Portal, our easy-to-use portal with where our customers can explore and start using Location Maps APIs and SDKs including documentation, tutorials, code samples and developer support, and drive its commercial success.
    • Create and evolve the Product Vision and Strategy for the Developer Portal. Next to that your experience in tech helps us to speed up our development by building on your past experience.
    • Be an internal and external ambassador of the product and you will ensure our Developer Portal is recognized for its great developer experience and self-sufficiency, internally and externally.
    • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to design, develop, and implement the Developer Portal roadmap.
    • Determine KPIs and metrics to measure the success of overall success and new features and improvements.
    • Share insights and feedback from the Developer Portal back to product teams.
    What you’ll need 
    • A background in Product Management with a good understanding of the modern software product development process.
    • A proven track record on leading large-scale initiatives as well as being able to inspire teams with your vision.
    • A healthy amount of customer obsession, data literacy, platform thinking, as well as a good understanding of API and SDK development and the relevant trends ongoing there.
    • Product operational knowledge as well as Product discovery, Product optimization and Product delivery techniques.
    • Strong stakeholder management and excellent collaboration skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience with designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining websites.
    • Data driven with attention to detail.
    What’s nice to have
    • Experience with front-end languages and Frameworks (Gatsby,React, NodeJS, Javascript, CSS, HTML) and Drupal.
