On average, 15% of roads change every year. So over time maps become outdated. TomTom now offers brand new maps that incorporate the latest changes to the road network to ensure that you get the most out of your TomTom device. Replace your old map

Traveling abroad?

If you are visiting another region or country but do not have the map pre-installed on your TomTom device, simply get an additional map and you’re set to go.

Important:

• In order to successfully download a new map, make sure you accept the free upgrade to TomTom HOME (version 2.1 or higher) and update the software on your device when prompted;
  
• These maps can only be used if you already own TomTom products;
  
• If you want to download a map to your computer straightaway, TomTom recommends using a broadband Internet connection;
  
• Depending on the map you purchase, additional memory (e.g. an empty SD card) might be needed.
