Problems Navigating on the "Sweden" map

On certain TomTom Navigator CDROM's, a file called "Sweden.CAB" was damaged. As a result, the map named "Sweden (94mb)" will seem to install correctly on your PocketPC, but certain road features (such as roundabouts) are not handled correctly

"Sweden (94mb)"
(damaged)

"Sweden (94mb)"
(undamaged)

Since the other Scandinavian maps on the CDROM are not damaged, we suggest (as a temporary measure) that you use the other maps - for example, the 16mb segments or the 122mb Sweden+Norway+Denmark combination map.

To determine whether your CDROM contains this error please look at the unprinted "mirror" side of the CDROM. In the inside circle you can faintly see the batch code. If this says: "C4D/45945/TT NAVIGATOR2 NORDICS NEW" OR "C4D/45969/TT NAVIGATOR2 EUROPE 8 NEW" then your CDROM contains the error. In this case we will provide you with a free replacement CDROM.

Unless you already received an E-mail from us about this issue, please contact our support department (support@tomtom.com) and provide us with:
  • your name and address details (i.e. where to send the new CDROM)
  • your product number (the 15 letters and digits printed on the inside of your CDROM box)
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

Kind regards,
TomTom Customer Support
