TomTom and RSS

What is RSS?

RSS is becoming the standard way for distributing press releases, news, or product updates online. It allows you to subscribe to a feed (a small amount of content) and you will then be alerted whenever there is new content available. There is no clutter in your e-mail inbox and there is no need to share your personal information. You just read the articles as and when you want them. There’s no charge and anyone can use the service.

How do I get an RSS reader?

To get started you will need to either use an RSS desktop application (e.g. NewsGator or Feedreader) or a web-based RSS feed reader (e.g. MyYahoo! or Google Reader). Some web browsers such as Mozilla Firefox, Safari and Opera support RSS without the need to install a separate application. Please note, TomTom does not endorse any specific RSS reader or other 3rd party application.

How do I access TomTom's RSS feeds?

To add an RSS feed to your reader, right-click on the RSS button, then click ‘Copy shortcut’ and paste the URL into your feed reader. Since every application works differently, we can’t supply directions for them all.

TomTom reserves the right to discontinue this service at any time.
