TomTom Wins Prestigious Best Buy Bravo! Award for Vendor Excellence

Concord, MA – May 6, 2009 - TomTom, the world’s leading navigation solutions provider was recognized by consumer electronics retailer Best Buy for its outstanding vendor performance in the portable navigation device industry. TomTom was awarded for its exceptional work, innovative technology, commitment to safety, best maps and smart routing.

• Unit volume grew 60 percent in 2008

The Best Buy Bravo! Award was presented to TomTom on May 4, 2009, at an event honoring the winners. Best Buy awards only 12 of its partners for their contributions to the retailer’s success. Best Buy’s award committee evaluates hundreds of nominees and chooses annual winners in several categories, considering factors including net revenue, gross margin, operational, marketing savvy, flexibility, strategic planning, customer experience, CPFT, multi-channel and growth initiatives.
