TomTom ONE “Stuff Hot Buy”
In a comparative test of four satnav devices, including three competitors, the TomTom ONE (Europe) comes out top of the test - as the only device to score 5 stars. As a result it is awarded the "Stuff Hot Buy". Pointing to TomTom's almost iconic status, the TomTom ONE is compared to the iPod and they say "they wish it would drop the ball for once and let them recommend something else". Features like Bluetooth, PLUS services and safety cameras are mentioned, to name a few. It is a very positive piece, captured best with the concluding words "the ONE rocks". (January 2007)
