Creating a version file

In order for the TomTom device to be aware of versions of your POI set you need to create one more file, the .ver file. This is a simple text file that you can create with any text editor. It should look like this:

[description]

ID=my_poi_set_name

Version=1

Note: For ID, make sure you use the exact name of your POI set without the .ov2 suffix. See Naming your POI set.
